We designed the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) for Lumus Instruments. The exhibition,"POLYNODE: CYCLES", commissioned by Art Club in Houston, is a digital media installation that builds upon the notion of embodied computation. The LED control hardware was integrated into the PCB, which controls 12V RGBW digital pixels with a 5700K white LED.
The design is inspired by voyager golden record and the location of the exhibition. Houston is the headquater of NASA.

Final design of PCB
The final design is inspired by our solar system. This design is based on the real-time visualisation of planetary science data from NASA: Eyes on the Solar System. The binary code around the edges spells out: "Lumus Instruments & Bureau Moeilijke Dingen".
